Competitive Gymnastics coach

Job Description

The MegaGym is looking for a dynamic Competitive Gymnastics coach to lead our Gymnastics programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping children develop their talents and skills. You will have excellent communication skills, an outgoing personality and a strong work ethic.

Hours are Mon-Thursday from 3:00-7:30pm and Fridays from 4:00-8:00pm - non negotiable

Must sign a one year coaching agreement.

Job responsibilities:

• Able to train and maintain a competitive team of 15 Gymnasts (separate groupings)
• Plan and manage weekly Gymnastics & Tumbling classes
• Locate and correct weak points in our programs
• Foster a professional working environment
• Coach a minimum of 5 hours of classes alongside director duties (tumbling classes)
• Help maintain a clean and safe facility
• Create and maintain relationships with all members
• Create monthly lesson plans for Gymnastics and Tumbling
• Meet quarterly goals created by yourself and management

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Management experience
• Gymnastics team coaching experience minimum of 1 years
• Experience coaching upper level Gymnastics minimum of 2 years
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Adhere by company core values
• Strong people skills
• Highly organized and task oriented
• Good problem solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
